1. Description

YS-205 Modified silicone MS mould proof adhesive for construction is a single-component, non-sagging sealing material, made of internationally leading modified silicone prepolymer as the main raw material, with the addition of bactericides and antibacterial agents. During construction, YS-205 is applied to the joints with a glue gun to form a waterproof sealing layer that is easy to apply, pollution-free, and has good displacement.

1. Use

YS-205 is Suitable for waterproof sealing of kitchenware, sanitary ware, shower room, wooden floor, high-end furniture, basement decoration, etc. where anti-mould is needed.

1. Construction Process

• Base treatment: 

The construction surface should be clean, hard, dry, free of grease and surface dirt.

• Filling backing material: 

Paste masking tape on both sides of the sealant application area and fill the backing material at the same time.

• Apply primer: 

This product generally does not require primer. If necessary, apply special primer YS-207 on the base layer to cover the base layer. Wait until the primer is dry (about 30 minutes) before applying sealant. 

• Sealant application: 

Cut the nozzle into the required size and connect it to the hose. The sealant must have good contact with both sides of the gap to ensure that the sealant can fully fill the joint. The colloid should be higher than the surface of the substrate for later modification. 

• Modification and finishing: 

Use a spatula to press the colloid in one direction to eliminate bubbles, and the glue surface is repaired into a flat or curved surface. Tear off the masking tape after modification.

1. Storage and shelf life

During transportation, keep away from moisture, rain, sun, high temperature, heat source, handle with care, and avoid squeezing and collision.
The product should be stored in a ventilated, dry, cool place, and avoid direct sunlight. Isolate from fire and heat source. The storage temperature should be 5-30°C. The shelf life of the product with intact packaging and sealing is 12 months.

1. Notice

• Please strictly follow the operating process to avoid bonding failure.
• The sealant should be within the shelf life before use.
• Before curing, the sealant should avoid contact with eyes and skin. If it comes into contact with the skin, first scrub it with soapy water or alcohol, then rinse with clean water; if it comes into contact with the eyes, first rinse with plenty of clean water, and seek medical attention immediately if necessary.
• Inadequate ventilation or low humidity will slow down the curing process.
• Do not dispose of uncured sealant or base treatment agent into sewers, water or soil.
• Do not apply silicone adhesive to the surface of the substrate that has been treated with silicone adhesive.
